Blood Bowl Sevens- High Elves vs Porklings (S01GW01)

Welcome to the first game of the Sevens Blood Bowl League. Our first fixture today is going to see the High Elf Home Team, the Ellyrion Eagles face off against the visitors, The Blue Reach Boars (Goblins/Porklings). Lets have a look at the Match Highlights, and punditry from ex-players, Brokk Frorson and Thistle Hedgehill. Pre-Game With Perfect conditions for Blood Bowl, both teams arrive fully prepared for the upcoming fixture. The Porklings use the opportunity of some available petty cash to buy a bribe for the referee, and with that- it's time for Kick-Off. Brilliant Coaching is rolled on the Kick-Off table- but a resulting draw leaves neither team with an extra Re-Roll. First Half With a well placed Kick, the Porklings deftly aim the ball into the centre of the pitch- forcing the Elves to come towards them, and the Boar (Troll) straight out of the gate. This immediately paid off for the Porklings, as in their first turn, they were able to Blitz the Boar into an Elf Blitzer, KO

The Big Boar himself Well, I have finally finished painting my Greebo Games Porclings- it's only taken me 6 months... Anyway, I'm going to quickly run over my plans for the team, and then also how they were to paint! My plans for the team are to run them as Goblins, with the Boar as a Troll- this just felt more 'right' than them being Halflings (the Boar isn't really Treeman-like) or any of the other Stunty teams, where the linemen are a bit too small for the Porcs! For my teams Lore- these are the Blue Reach Boars . Having once lived as Halflings in the Moot, one day all was to change for the little lives of these merry folk. After an altercation with a travelling wizard, accusing the Halflings of refusing to pay for his services during a warm-up game for the Thimble Cup (something the Halfling's furiously deny!), he left the village cursing the occupants for their greed. The next morning, the Halfling villagers woke to find that they were transformed into pi

The New Models in the Greebo Cutiemals Range I'd been eyeing the Greebo Cutiemals range for a while, so when the new P-Orclings popped onto the Greebo store, I snapped them up for a Sevens team- let's take a look: The P-Orclings in running poses. First up, the new pigs which were released for the 'Black Orc' style team. These models are fantastic- the facial expressions and action poses give them some real character. They're relatively 'simple' when you look at their bodies- not many details to pick out with the paintbrush, but being so small, you don't end up with too much blank space. P-Orclings standing still. The more static poses carry a ironic menace- the little pigs grimacing, but still end up looking just as cute. I will mention that the middle pig, on all fours, does not connect quite as well to the base as the others. I'm not concerned he will snap off, but he doesn't have the flat surface to connect as the others. The backs of the mo
